Her first big role was when she starred in the 1978 thriller “Halloween”, more horror films followed soon after. She was then cast in “Trading Places” in 1983, which was finally a different genre for her to excel in. She was in a lot of movies all through to the 1990s, like “True Lies” and “Halloween H20”. Her last appearance in front of the camera was a role on the successful TV show “Scream Queens”. Curtis also writes children’s books and has had some success in that department as well. She has been married to fellow actor Christopher Guest since 1984, they have two adopted children.
