John James plays the role of "Jeffrey Colby", who marries "Fallon", the daughter of his family's nemesis, "Blake Carrington", in season one. During the third season, they get divorced but after some time apart, they want to re-marry. It does not come to that, because "Fallon" disappears off the face of the earth for a year. They eventually get married again in season six and, for a second time, get divorced in season eight.
