A nineteen-year-old Lauren Bacall met the twenty-five-year-old Humphrey Bogart while filming her screen debut "To Have and Have Not". The couple fell in love on set, but had to keep their relationship a secret as Bogart was married. The two got married in 1945 and stayed together until Bogart's death in 1957. They have a son and a daughter.
