"I Dream of Jennie" was a TV show about a female genie, ironically named "Jeannie" and her master "Major Tony Nelson" that aired from 1965 until 1970. The whole point or gag of the show itself were "Jeannie's" attempts to make "Nelson's" life better which almost always ended in some sort of theatrical catastrophe.
