Eleanor Parker also had an extensive career in show business. She had a number of roles in movies like "Three Secrets" (1950), "Dectective Story" (1951), for which she both recieved an Oscar nominations. Her biggest success, popularitywise, was in "The Sound of Music" in 1965 playing the role of Baroness Elsa Schraede. Sadly, our lovely Baroness died on December 9th, 2013 in her Palm Springs home.
