Nicolette Sheridan played the role of "Edie Williams" in the hit series "Desperate Housewives". After her character's death in 2009, she decided to sue the producer of the show, Marc Cherry, as well as ABC for alleged harrasment and unnanouced termination of her contract. In the end, she was not able to win her case.
