"Sam Wheat" (Patrick Swayze, †57), a banker, and "Molly Jensen", an artist playey by Demi Moore, have fallen madly in love with each other. When "Sam" is murdered by his so-called friend and business partner "Carl Bruner", his ghost remains. When "Sam" finally figures out what happened to him, he seeks out the psychic "Oda Mae Brown" to help his lover "Molly" save herself from impending danger.
