Being born into a Polish-Jewish family in Brooklyn, graduating at the University of Texas with a degree in history, then being drafted for the United States Military, and then finally focusing all his energy on acting, Eli Wallach had a very interesting and fulfilling life. He starred in a number of movies and shows over the decades such as "Baby Doll" (1956), "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966), "Once Upon a Time in the West" (1968) and many more. The legendary actor sadly passed away on June 24, 2014 at the age of 98.
