Before his role in "Top Gun", Thomas Roy "Tom" Skerritt had already stars in productions such as "M.A.S.H." (1970), "Fuzz" (1972), and "Alien" (1979). Skerritt moved on to star in the hit TV series "Picket Fences" for which he won an Emmy for Most Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 1994. Tom has been married three times and has a total of 3 children. He has been married to Julie Tokahashi since 1998.
