MIchael Landon's first major role was in "Bonanza" playing the role "Joe Cartwright". Afterwards Landon starred in popular shows such as "Little House on the Prarie" and "Highway to Heaven". Landon passed away at the age of 54 back in 1991 with the cause of death being cancer.
