"Lara Croft's" father disappeared in mysterious circumstances when she was a child. She is now twenty-one and living in London as a student and working as a bike courier. She is determined to find her own path in life and refuses to take over her the business empire that her eccentric adventurer father created. She decides to try to solve her father's disappearance, and, ignoring his wishes, she journeys to a fabled tomb on a mythical island, the last place her father was seen alive, to embark on a dangerous adventure in search of answers...
