Tony Shalhoub ("Adrian Monk") is probably one of the quirkiest TV detectives of all time! The former police officer suffers from severe anxiety and other psychological issues since the death of his wife "Trudy". This is why he is only allowed to work as a consultant for the Police, but this doesn't stop him from dabbling in private investigative work. With the help of his friends, who also work for the police, he is able to solve numerous cases.
