In 2016 two professional dancers who had starred on "Strictly" were embroiled in a doping scandal involving 150 other British sports stars. Dr Mark Bonar (left) was recorded by undercover reporters at his practice in Knightsbridge stating that he had prescribed performance-enhancing drugs to several professional sportsmen and women. A BBC spokesperson however stated that "in the absence of any evidence or further information being presented to us, we will not be commenting".
