The long-running sci-fi TV programme "Doctor Who" has been capturing audiences' hearts since 1963. The "Doctor" is a "Time Lord" from the planet "Gallifrey" who explores the universe in his "Tardis", a time-travelling spaceship that looks like the outside of an old-fashioned blue British police box, helping civilisations under threat. There have been twelve incarnations of "Doctor Who" so far, but we are very excited to see what "Broadchurch" actress Jodie Whittaker does with the role, as the thirteenth "Doctor", and first female "Doctor Who", in 2018.
