Michael was the second child and oldest son of Oona O'Neill and Charlie Chaplin. Michael first accomplishment was his first book he published at the age of 19, describing his life and living in the shadow of his father. Michael was married to Patrice Chaplin, also a writer, with whom he had two sons with, Tim and Christian Chaplin.
