Sean Astin's acting debut was in the movie "The Goonies" back in 1985 at the age of 13. He later moved on to star in several other movies such as "The B.R.A.T. Patrol", "White Water Summer", "Toy Soldiers" and "Encino Man" in the early stages of his acting career. By far his biggest success was in the "The Lord Of The Rings" franchise in which he played the role of "Samwise Gamgee". His most recent roles have been in series like "Stranger Things" as well as the movie "Gloria" which is due to be released in 2018.
