"Buddy Garrity" is the owner of the town's "Chevrolet" dealership as well as an influential member of the "Dillon" Panthers boosters. His straight-talking pragmatism often leads him fighting with "Coach Taylor", but the two seem to have a good working relationship having the team's best interests at heart.
