Judd Hirsch was already a pretty well known actor before his role in "Taxi". After the show came to an end, Hirsch was able to star in the hit series "Dear John" from 1988 until 1992. Other series he starred in were "George & Leo", "Numb3rs", "Damages", "Forever" and, most recently, in "Superior Donuts". Judd Hirsch is currently single and has two children from a previous marriage.
