"Buzz Richman", played by actor Barnard Hughes, is "Blossom's" grandfather. He was a war veteran who had been married married multiple times. "Buzz" is a funloving person with some of his interests being women, cigars, jokes and alchohol. Barnard Hughes himself moved on to star in several smaller productions, like "The Lost Boys" and "The Odd Couple II", after his role in "Blossom". Hughes passed away on July 11, 2006.
