In "First Blood", war veteran "John Rambo" starts a fight with the chief of police of the small Washington town "Hope". He ends up being arrested and is taken to the local prison. In the original version of the film, "Rambo" was meant to die at the end of the film, as he asks his friend "Colonel Trautman" to kill him because he feels that he will never be able to survive jail. After a tense discussion, "Colonel Trautman" agrees to shoot him. Fortunately, the end was changed, otherwise there could only have been one "Rambo" film, which would have been a great shame!
