In the comedy "Marley and Me" husband and wife "Jenny" and "John Grogan" adopt a loveable dog called "Marley". After a slightly shaky start, Marley is cheeky to say the least, the couple soon fall in love with Marley. When Marley dies years later they are inconsolable, and so, too, is anyone watching the film!
