Laurie Metcalf became known internationally for her role as "Jackie Harris" in "Roseanne". She had guest appearances in numerous series, including "Malcolm in the Middle", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Desperate Housewives". She has played "Sheldon's" mother in "The Big Bang Theory" since 2007. Most recently, she has starred in the independent film "Lady Bird" alongside Saoirse Ronan, and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. She will return to the small screen in Marc, when "Roseanne" makes its big comeback!
