From 1991 to 1992, Leonardo DiCpario had a recurring role on "Growing Pains", he played the young "Luke Brower". DiCaprio's role was especially written for him and his presence was supposed to boost the ratings. But the then still unknown DiCaprio couldn't save the series. In the end, "Growing Pains" was cancelled after seven seasons in 1992.
