Originally, Ashley Greene auditioned for the part of “Bella Swan“ in the highly successful franchise, but pretty soon it was obvious, that Kristen Stewart would be playing this character. Nevertheless the producers wanted Ashley to be part of the saga, so instead of "Bella“, the beautiful actress embodied one of the other vampires of the “Cullen” clan, “Alice”.
