In "Scrubs", "Turk" and "Carla" are in a relationship from the beginning of the series and get married at the end of the third season. "Carla's" mother dies while the couple are planning their wedding. Overwhelmed by her emotions, "Carla" decides to marry her boyfriend "Turk" as quickly as possible in a small chapel in the hospital.
