For the final Daniel Stern (right) agreed to actually have the crew put a real tarantula on his face in one of the movie's final scenes. However, he wasn't allowed to move too many muscles in his face so that the spider would not get scared. Despite that, he still went on to deliver one of greatest screams in cinematic history.
