When “The Lord of the Rings” ended in 2003, Billy Boyd had a couple of small roles and cameos in a number of films. The Scottish actor also went back to his acting roots and appeared in a couple of stage productions: In 2013, Boyd played Banquo in Shakespeare's Macbeth, at the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
