"Gilmore Girls" star Scott Patterson used to be a professional baseball player when he was younger. He pitched for a few successful teams such as the New York Yankees, the Texas Rangers and the L.A. Dodgers. In 1994 he officially ended his baseball career and started taking acting classes.
