"Charlie's" parents are "Mrs and Mr Bucket". The family is poor, but still do everything in their power to help "Charlie" have a good life. They were willing to let "Charlie" take over the factory even though they knew they would never see him again. However, luckily, in the end, they are allowed to go with him as Charlie refuses to go without them.
