"Augustus Gloop" is a stereotypical German and is the first to find one of the tickets. He loves candy and pretty much ate his way to a golden ticket. During the factory tour, he falls into the chocolate river and is swept away by the current. The "Oompa-Loompas" only help him after they have performed a spiteful song.
