Leah Remini
Leah Remini, also known as “Carrie Heffernan”, was a member of Scientology from the age of nine and left the Church in 2013. Over the years, she raised millions of Dollars for the organization and actively solicited new members.
She left Scientology owing to policies that forbid members from questioning the management of the Church’s leader David Miscavige, which she believes to be corrupt.
Remini now passionately fights against Scientology’s practices and is outspoken about her past with the controversial organization. She published her memoir “Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology“ in 2015 and is the presenter for the show “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath”, which has been airing since 2016 on A&E.
