In "Seven Years in Tibet", Heinrich Harrer describes how he goes on an expedition in the Himalayas. Due to the political dangers of the Second World War, he ends up in Tibet, where he met the young Dalai Lama. Even after his adventure in Tibet, Harrer ascended some of the highest peaks of the world!
