Marlon Brando won an Oscar for his role in "The Godfather" back in 1973. Surprisingly though, Brando refused to accept the award and chose not to attend the ceremony. Instead, he sent a representative, tasked with raising awareness about the unfair treatment of American Indians in the USA.
