Jerry Orbach played "Baby's" father "Dr. Jake Houseman", who goes up to the Kellerman's resort in the Catskill Mountains with his family. Orbach was originally known as a musical performer on Broadway and had his big-screen-breakthrough with "Dirty Dancing".
