Kyle MacLachlan featured in numerous series after "Desperate Housewives". Amongst others he appeared as "The Captain" in "How I Met Your Mother", "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" and "Portlandia". In 2017, Kyle reprised his main role in the much anticipated "Twin Peaks" sequel.
