Even after "Twin Peaks", Wise was still able to mainatin a normal acting career starring in numerous guest roles such as "NCIS". He had leading roles in shows like "Savannah" and "Reaper" which were both canceled after two seasons. He also had role in the famous soap opera "The Young and the Restless". He's been on the show "Fresh Off The Boat" since 2015 and also appeared as "Leland Palmer" again for 2 episodes for the 2017 installement of "Twin Peaks".
