Duane Chase moved on to become a software engineer after his role as "Kurt von Trapp" in "The Sound of Music". He always seemed to be more interested in an education instead of acting, later earning his master's degree in geology at the University of Alabama. He currently lives in Seattle and is married to Petra Maria, a registered nurse.
