One of the most famous detectives of all time is without a doubt the ingenious "Sherlock Holmes". The character, created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, was played by Robert Downey Jr. in the movies. Together with his friend and flatmate "Dr. John Watson", played by Jude Law, they solved the craziest of cases in 19th century London. The series "Sherlock" from BBC as well as CBS's "Elementary" are two current TV shows portraying the dynamic duo.
