Kyle Chandler was already quite successful in Hollywood before he was given the role of "Eric Taylor" in "Friday Night Lights". Before he accepted the role, he had already starred in "Homefront" (1991-1993) and "Early Edition" (1996-2000). After his role in "Friday Night Lights", Chandler had several minor roles before landing his next big role on the Netflix show "Bloodline" for which he was nominated for several awards.
