Glynis Johns was absolutely brilliant at the classic movie "Mary Poppins", playing "Winifred Banks". She was a gifted dancer, actress and singer as well. Her movie career started in 1938 — ten years later she achieved her big breakthrough with "Miranda". Disney chose her for the leading parts in the movies "The Sword and the Rose" and "Rob Roy - The Highland Rogue". Nonetheless her most famous role is and will always be the one of "Winifred" in "Mary Poppins".
