Even "Edie Britt's" death on the show "Desperate Housewives" was a huge shock for fans in general. The real estate agent became popular for her sassy remarks. Nobody could do the dirty laundry like she did! While she was fleeing desperately from her mentally troubled husband, "Dave Williams" (Neal McDonough), her neighbor "Orson Hodge" (Kyle MacLachlan) suddenly appeared on the street. "Britt'" lost control of her car and crashed into a pole. While coming out of the car, she was hit by an electric shock which ultimately killed her. She died surrounded by her friends.
