The Mayor is played by Jeffrey Tambor (73). He started his career as a theatre actor, but then switched to film and television. He has appeared in more than 120 films and TV series. His most famous roles were in the films "Hellboy II" , "The Grinch" and in the TV series the "Larry Sanders Show" and "Arrested Development". He was nominated for six Emmys for his performance in the "Larry Sanders Show" and has won two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe for his performance in Amazon's original series "Transparent".
